LaKia Morrison, M.A, PHR, SHRM-CPC LaKia is a passionate Human Resource Manager for Microsoft and has previous experience as a leader at Boeing Aerospace company. She enjoys spending time with family as a mother of four, wife and community service advocate through her Sorority with a dedication to serve! Melinda Leash, B.A, BSN, RN, PCCN, MBA Melinda Leash is a Critical Care Nurse at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with over 15 years of experience working in healthcare. Early in her career she worked as an assistant in grassroots health organizations in California and Central America. These experiences prompted a lifelong passion to advocate for and provide resources to underserved populations. To better understand the structural dynamics of organizations and health gaps, Melinda recently completed an MBA in Healthcare Administration. Jessica Albright, B.A, ED Special Education Jess is dedicated to serving youth with special needs as a Special Education Administrator. A graduate of Washington State University where her desire and commitment to serve blossomed through her involvement in various campus organizations that even led to her holding a National Board of Directions position for the YWCA of USA as Chair of Collegiate YWCA's, in 1998. She is a 20 year teacher veteran who recently transitioned to Administration. She is a proud mother of two, loves helping others, is an avid social action and education advocate, active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and serves on other community Board of Directors that support the growth and development of our BIPOC Youth. Kiana Bobo, MSC/MFCT, LMFT Kiana is a seasoned clinician with Veteran housing, children and family therapy and homeless outreach service experience. She is a two time Breast Cancer survivor who uses her story to empower women as an advocate. Kiana has a passion to honor the whole person and encourage self-advocacy through exploring client-centered approaches. Kiana enjoys spending time with her husband and, two kids and she is a fashionista who loves to shop for Afro-Centric designs and blazers. She is a dedicated member of a community service driven sorority and loves participating in community events. Yolanda Gallien Yolanda has served as president of a non-profit youth sports organization for more than five years giving back to her community. Yolanda manages a document services company and is a mother of three. She enjoys attending her youngest son football games and collecting butterflies. Yolanda has a natural talent in connecting peoples and sourcing resources for underserved communities where she has dedicated her life mission to be of service to those less fortunate . Scott Edens Scott is a U.S. Army veteran with 20 years of management and leadership experience. He is active in community efforts to assist with the advocacy of individuals experiencing homelessness through the nationwide agency, the “Corporation for Supportive Housing.” He is a “CSH Speak Up! Advocate” and is an active board member of the Los Angeles Tennant Knowledge Exchange Advisory Council. Scott has a passion for working undeserved communities experiencing homelessness, Mental Health disorders, and Substance abuse and is currently managing the Malibu Outreach and Engagement Team for the People Concern homeless services agency. Bree'zian Wilson Bree is a recent college graduate pursuing a career in computer science and technology. Bree loves football and played his entire life from Pop Warner to collegiate division one level fulfilling his childhood dream. Bree aspires to design computer programs and implement computer technology for business systems that will enhance the user experience with efficiency and creativity in the new world of digital technology. |
